Skipco (Malawi) Limited was established in 1992 as a Limited Company and as initial Agents for SAPPI, the World's 4th largest paper manufacturer, and the largest in Africa which has a number of mills and forest plantations in South Africa.

With Malawi's Liberalized Economy in the 90s, Skipco (Malawi) Limited was largely responsible for the growth of the Printing Industry as it moved hugevolumes of various Printing Paper Products and Printing Sundries across the borders into the country to supply organizations like Blantyre Printing & Publishing Co. Ltd, Central Government Stores, Government Press, Mercia Industries, Malamulo Publishing House, Montfort Press,Capital Printing Press, Image Works, Ministry of Education, just to mention a few and other Malawian Entrepreneurs who have bought from us to re supply.

In 1993 Skipco Malawi Limited was successful in securing a large contract for the supply of Security Ballot Paper for the National Referendum, This greatly enhanced Skipco Malawi Limited's image in Malawi.

During the ensuing five years Skipco Malawi Limited successfully secured large contracts with Commercial Bank of Malawi Limited and National Bank of Malawi Limited to supply Security Printed Matter like Signature Verification Forms, Cheques, Letter headed Documents and Continuous Stationery.

Today, Skipco, through its continued commitment to consistent supply and enhancing customer satisfaction is in the forefront in the printing industry in Malawi.
