Independent Electoral Commission of Zanzibar; (Funded by the Govt. of Zanzibar)

Skipco Pty Ltd was awarded the tender of printing and supply of 117,500 ballot papers for their By-Elections which took place in May 2003. This consisted of 17 different ballots, one for each of their constituency's. All proof reading was done via secure e-mail. The entire job was printed and delivered by Air to the Island within 10 days from approval of artwork.

Skipco Pty Ltd was contracted to supply 50,000 Cold Seal laminates in April 2003 for the IEC's registration process. These were manufactured and hand delivered by air within 4 days from order.

Independent Electoral Commission of Lesotho; (Funded by the Kingdom of Lesotho)

Skipco Pty Ltd was awarded the tender to design and supply 1,920,000 ballot papers for Party and Constituency Elections in June of 2002. In addition, 5000 custom made templates for blind voters were manufactured to assist them in casting their votes. Delivery was made in two batches one for advance polling and a 2nd for the actual polling day.

Department of National Registration Zambia; (Funded by the European Union)

Skipco (Pty) Ltd was awarded the tender to supply 1,500,000 security printed lamination pouches, Polaroid Instant cameras and Instant film, and laminating machines - which are used to issue national ID cards to the citizens of Zambia. Items were delivered in October 2001.

Electoral Commission of Uganda; (Funded by the Govt. of the Republic of Uganda)

Skipco (Pty) Ltd was contracted to supply an additional 3,000,000 Voter Registration Forms to the ECU. The forms included a bar code, and were sequentially numbered. The delivery took place during August and September 2001 by chartered aircraft.

Electoral Commission of Uganda; (Funded by the Govt. of the Republic of Uganda)

Skipco (Pty) Ltd was awarded the tender for printing of 11,800,000 ballot papers for the Parliamentary and Women's District representative Elections which took place in June 2001. The order involved the printing and finishing of 118,000 booklets of 100 pages each. Each ballot paper carried a unique serial number, as well as other security features. A team consisting of 4 senior officials, and 6 junior staff were present to conduct proofreading of the ballot papers, which had 270 different variations. Skipco printed and delivered the entire quantity within 12 days from approval of artwork by chartered aircraft to Entebbe Uganda.

Electoral Commission of Uganda; (Funded by the Govt. of the Republic of Uganda) Supplied through Code Incorporated

Skipco (Pty) Ltd was contracted by Code Incorporated to supply 10,000,000 Voter Registration Forms each containing a unique serial number and bar code. Other items supplied included 5000 plastic trunks with padlocks, 570000 tamper evident envelopes, 5000 photographic background screens, 5000 rolls masking tape, and 20,000 pre-printed ballpoint pens. The entire quantity of goods was ordered and shipped within 30 days of receiving the order. Supplies were delivered by charter aircraft in 3 flights in January 2001.

National Electoral Commission of Tanzania; (Funded by the European Union)

Skipco (Pty) Ltd was awarded the tender to supply 8,000,000 Voter Education leaflets and 928,000 posters, to 25 regional electoral offices throughout Tanzania. The entire quantity of leaflets, and half the quantity of posters, was delivered by Skipco (for the voter registration exercise) in August 2000 within 14 days of receiving the order. The balance of the posters were delivered to the 25 regional electoral offices in September prior to the polling period. Skipco was also responsible for ensuring that 85 full-page newspaper advertisements were placed in 5 Swahili & 2 English language newspapers for both voter registration awareness, and polling day awareness in August and October respectively. In addition, provisions were made for a delegation of 4 members from the NEC, to visit our printing site to proofread all matter before final printing commenced.

National Electoral Commission of Tanzania; (Funded by the Basket Donors)

Skipco (Pty) Ltd has supplied 8,000,000 leaflets designed for awareness of polling day in August of this year. Also, Skipco has indirectly supplied 41,766 corrugated voting compartments pre-printed with the NEC logo in the same month (through Code Incorporated).

Rwanda Electoral Commission; (Funded by USAID) Supplied through Code Incorporated

Skipco (Pty) Ltd was contracted to supply 3,300 reams of security paper in September 2000, which will be used for printing ballot papers for their upcoming elections.

Malawi Electoral Commission

During the 1999 Elections, Skipco supplied Tamper-proof envelopes, paper which was used for the printing of civic education posters, and laminated ID Badges for registration officials.

Mozambique Electoral Commission (STAE); (Funded by the United Nations Development Program) Supplied through Code Incorporated

Skipco was contracted by Code Incorporated to supply stationary, packing materials, and printed instruction manuals to the Electoral Commission for the Registration of voters - May 1999. Three trucks carrying 40' containers full of electoral materials were escorted by armed security vehicles from Johannesburg to Maputo.
