It may be the ultimate gift or corporate statement: an original work of art, depicting that special machine in your life be it a sports car, a vintage roadster, a racing car - or even an aeroplane. It can even be a depiction of a thrilling racing scene, created off a photograph.
Dave Adnams has been specialising in automotive art for decades. A trained graphic artist, he swapped the world of advertising for the more satisfying profession of creating original art for individual customers and corporations.

His exceptional work features in boardrooms and homes, and has been widely used in various books and magazines.
He also produced a series of limited edition prints of historic racing cars, as well as various calendars with an automotive theme.
"Transport is more than getting from A to B. The mechanical soul, to captivate the exciting experience and interest of all the tactile qualities that make up the whole - that's what my art works are all about. Sheet metal, chrome and leather ... I love to exaggerate these qualities, to enhance the visually luxurious,"
He's immortalised Porsches, Ferraris, AC Cobras, Mustangs and a myriad other cars in brilliant, air-brushed art for their owners, as well as corporate jets, planes - even trucks. His racing car paintings evoke the action and the excitement of the real thing.
Dave prefers airbrushing for his paintings. "The technique of airbrushing is almost like sculpting with air. The end product depicts power, luxury, wealth, speed and something of the future,"
For a gift with a difference - and lasting value - Dave can be commissioned to create an airbrushed painting of just about anything with wheels, or wings.
